About the Artist Mary started her art career at the age of five, when she was observed by her mother pounding the coffee table and sobbing because she could not draw a perfect circle. Thousands of hours of television watching in the mid to late '70s warped and shaped her tastes. She has thumbed and bummed around a fair sampling of the world. She has been showing and selling works of art for the last few years, despite a tendency to extreme sluggishness.
